Aim:
The aim of the Journal of Electrical and Electronics Research is to provide a platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research and advancements in the interdisciplinary fields of electrical engineering and electronics. The journal aims to publish original research articles, reviews, and technical notes that contribute to the fundamental understanding, theoretical development, experimental validation, and practical applications of electrical and electronic technologies.
Scope:
The scope of the Journal of Electrical and Electronics Research encompasses a wide range of topics within the fields of electrical engineering and electronics, including but not limited to:
Power Systems and Energy Engineering: Analysis, design, operation, and optimization of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy. This includes renewable energy systems, smart grids, microgrids, energy storage, and power electronics.
Electrical Machines and Drives: Design, modeling, control, and optimization of electrical machines, including induction motors, synchronous machines, DC motors, stepper motors, and specialized machines. This also includes adjustable speed drives, electric vehicle propulsion systems, and traction drives.
Control Systems and Automation: Theory, analysis, design, and implementation of control systems for various applications, including industrial automation, robotics, process control, aerospace systems, and mechatronics. This encompasses classical control, modern control, adaptive control, and intelligent control techniques.
Signal Processing and Communication Systems: Theory, algorithms, and applications of signal processing techniques for analyzing, filtering, and manipulating signals in communication systems, radar systems, sensor networks, and multimedia systems. This includes digital signal processing (DSP), wireless communication, digital communication, and optical communication.
Electronics and VLSI Design: Design, analysis, and implementation of electronic circuits and systems, including analog circuits, digital circuits, mixed-signal circuits, and radio-frequency (RF) circuits. This also includes very large-scale integration (VLSI) design, integrated circuit (IC) design, and electronic design automation (EDA).
Electromagnetics and Antennas: Theory, analysis, design, and characterization of electromagnetic fields, antennas, and propagation phenomena. This includes electromagnetic wave theory, microwave engineering, antenna design, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and radio frequency identification (RFID) systems.
Photonics and Optoelectronics: Theory, design, and applications of photonic devices and systems, including light-emitting diodes (LEDs), lasers, optical fibers, photodetectors, and optical communication systems. This also includes integrated photonics, nano-photonics, and quantum optics.
Nanoelectronics and Nanotechnology: Fabrication, characterization, and applications of nanoscale electronic devices and systems, including nanomaterials, nanofabrication techniques, nano-electronic devices, and nanotechnology-enabled sensors and actuators.
Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies: Research on the integration of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and sustainability principles into electrical and electronic systems and technologies. This includes green electronics, energy harvesting, and environmental impact assessment.
Emerging Technologies and Applications: Exploration of emerging technologies and applications in electrical engineering and electronics, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), quantum computing, wearable electronics, and cyber-physical systems.
The Journal of Electrical and Electronics Research welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, engineers, and practitioners from academia, industry, and government institutions.
